has anyone used a davies craig water pump on their air to water setup? Just ordered an EWP80 pump for my setup, wondering how much you like/hate it.

Their electric water pumps and booster pumps do not generate the head required for small bricks etc. I looked at their pump curves once and threw the idea out the window. However, I am running their EWP150 as the main water pump on my GTO. They are designed for high flow low head applications. If you are not making a lot of heat, it should do fine.

The factory ZL1 pump worked good for me, made 629/636 and IATs were 20 degrees over ambient. This year I just installed the Lingenfelter 25 amp Stewart EMP as I’m gunning for 850+ rwhp.

We have made made 1600+ in our nova with one of the davies craig pumps running our air to water ice tank... I would say they work really well. We have them on 4 cars so far for the actual cooling system and 1 car for the intercooler pump, would definitely recommend them to anyone with our current experiences.
