Dangerously Lean
#33
I am having a similiar issue with my TPI stealth ram, twin turbo setup. stock lines, holley in-tank 255, aftermarket FPR, 72#ers.
cold idle, i get 55-60psi, warm i get around 45psi, but just like Ken reports, my fuel pressure drops to around 20psi over 5000rpm, and leans to 14:1. My fab guy explains the solution is to put in a fuel cell w/ pickup and go with external fuel pump, and swap out the stock fuel lines from tank to rail with braided stainless. I have a Accel DFI, so i can run 12.75:1 at light loads, and rich it up to 11.8:1 for heavy loads.

Tim Kelley with superior racing and xact dyno tuned it. He seemed very knowledgeable. As far as running lean i havn't hooked up a fuel pressure guage or wideband yet. The oring just solved my hard starts. The hesitation or bog is right around 1500-2000 and happens at random. Sometimes it runs like a stripped ape and others it bogs down.
