daily 6.0l v-2 vortech torque build

Hello everyone I have a 03 chevy 1500hd with the lq4 4l80 and Sf rearend. The truck is a pig until you get her past 3700 rpm. Towing is horrible for what I use to tow it with (my boat) unsure the weight but it's old and heavy 21 foot... anyways I came up on a V2 supercharger I plan to mount up and put a small pully (2.90-3.30) to get it spinning at lower rpm. I plan to do the heads keeping the 317s and upgrading lifters and springs with the trunion upgrade to the rockers. As for cooling the charged air I'm going to run the SC into a 3" intercooler. Hopefully when I tow the temps will stay low enough and if not meth will be the next step. Let me know if anyone has any advice of what not to do because they have personally experienced it that would save me time and $$$ thanks
10lbs boost is max I'm looking for.

You probably have the weaker rods in that engine (Gen 3) so you will want to keep the boost on the lower side anyway for reliability sake. With more HP/Torque you will want to freshen up the 4l80e also, some minor mods can help it live with the higher power output.

Quick and cheap route is to throw in a Transgo HD2 kit. If you talk to an experience builder they will say the HD2 kit isn't the best and there are other ways to modify the trans to hold power but I couldn't tell you the specifics. A lot of people use the kit and it does work though, but it's always a balance of how much you want to spend, how much abuse does it need to take, how reliable does it need to be.
How many miles on the truck? It might need more of an overhaul if lots of miles on it anyway.

Truck and trans have 230k on it. the trans has had filter and oil changed 3 times on record. Never had any problems with my tranny. Full throttle shifts from 1st to 2nd 6000 rpm at 55mph and 2nd to 3rd at 95mph never any hard shifts. I'm mainly worried about the reliability of the engine. New springs lifters and such as I've mentioned. Cuz I'm only trying to add ~100 hp and ~150 ft/lb torque for my stock bottom end and tranny. I wouldn't mind blowing my trans down the line.

Your plans for engine sound good. They sold Magnuson supercharger kits for these trucks, for factory stock trucks that made something like 5 PSI boost and around 100 HP/TQ gains, so if you keep it 5-8PSI you're fine on stock rotating assembly. You will need bigger injectors, a good tune, and any maintenance/upgrades like you mentioned are smart.

Alright nice to know I'm on the tracks to a decent build. As far as injectors I think I have the 24.8lb ones and I at least need 40lb ones if my calculations are right. Anybody confirm that. The injector connection is multec.
