Default D1SC or Radix for the 370

I have been looking at getting a supercharger and i had my mind made up. BUT the price of the new magnachargers is a little steep. Im looking to make alot of HP (~650)with which ever setup i go with. This isnt a DD and has all the mods in my sig.

I have been looking at the D1sc because they look like great units for the price and it seems like alot of people are making good power. I guess i want to know which one will be the best choice and the most $$$ friendly. I also want something that I will be able to keep adding HP if need be.

The d1 will be the most $$$ friendly I would think, can make huge power. The radix, is going to make more right out of the gate, but you have a converter that will put the procharger in its range, so it should have power from the get also. What radix kit was you thinking about.. I have always liked the radix, but they cost to much $$ for me..

Yah I hear ya that is like a 5k+ kit, unless you can find it used, then it is still in the high2-3k range.. If you are goning to keep the 370 I would go for the D-1 first, it is cheaper, if you don't like it sell it then go for the more $$$ kit with the radix... I went with the procharger(don't want people to think I am jumping a band wagon cause I have a PC kit) cause it was a good deal, they are a proven kit also.

Yeah i just want something that i can really push. And not be limited by the size of the supercharger for its boost output. How much would a d1sc put out on a 370 i wonder

Check out some of the D1 setups over on LS1Tech. They are pushing over 10#, more like 14# on forged 370's.

have you thought about a turbo? youll limitations will be way up there, HP wise...
if I had the money and my truck wasnt a DD i would definately go with one of those trick turbo's, you just cant go wrong with one of those to make alot of power... my .02
