Default Custom Pullies?

Does anyone have a source for custom pullies? I need an 8-rib power steering pulley made for my Colorado, but it uses a different shaft size than the Silverados.

What's the ID of the pulley hole and OD of the pulley? I've been having some issues with my power steering in this Colorado ever since I did the swap. I want to install a factory V8 Colorado pump but it has a .655" shaft OD and the pulley itself is 6.000". The Silverado pulley I have is 6.250" and .750" shaft od. Maybe I can try. TBSS pump and pulley instead.

damn I'd just set screw and sleeve the Silverado pulley, or weld up and bore the ID to .653. Have any friends with machine tools?

you would need to ream this out to .653-655, its .625 nominal ID

But its just one representation of your options

That's an option. I could certainly have a machinist enlarge that to .653-.655, but I wonder how a sleeve inside the power steering pulley would behave? I'd have to press it into the pulley, then press the pulley onto the shaft of the pump and hope nothing mushrooms. Anyone that has pressed a pulley on knows it's a very tight fit.

Silverado pulley is too big (circumfrence) so it overworks the steering system and makes it stiff and bindy feeling. I need to install a smaller pulley, the next size down would be the TBSS pulley. No way of knowing how the steering system will behave with a 0.5" smaller pulley until I try it I suppose. With the TBSS pulley I could go with a TBSS pump no problem. They all use the same type-2 Saginaw pump anyways, the only thing that is different is the spring and plunger inside which I could transfer over from a V8 Colorado pump.

Hey guys thanks for the help. I called Innovative West and they gave me the part # for an LS2 GTO pulley that apparently is supposed to work. Part # 1049.
