Details:
The STS kit basically stops at the piece that bolts to the frame where it starts into the fender. I continue with the 2.5" pipe to the intercooler entrance. The intercooler is a custom bar and plate core that is 18"X10", 24"x10" overall.
Exit is 3" pipe to the elbow that goes to the MAF. Most of the pipe is tig'd together with minimal silicone. Where it does use silicone, it is a good silicone with t-bolt clamps.

STS and there intercoolerless system, when are they gona figure out that half the ppl that run them put an intercooler in it and that there 10 feet if intake piping doesn't do dick for cooling!

Now 150deg is still high but not terrible. Obviously you can run an FMIC and do a ton better with IATs only hitting 10-20deg above ambient, but that doesnt mean you HAVE to run one.

I dont really see a point on running any type of FI and not running a I/C. I mean ya maybe if you are only runnign low boost and arnt looking for much out of the kit then fine you dont need a I/C. But for anyone that wants to make power and push their engine hard, you need a I/C of peice of mind more than anything.

I know ppl do it all day, but if I was gona spend $6k on kit and upgrades to have the truck handle the power/be a daily driver...I would want some good power numbers, not just turbo sound like all the honda guys that run 3-5psi are doing GO BOV!
