Default Cure for a sticky Radix bypass valve

Ever since my alt lit on fire my bypass valve has stuck shut a few times and I have had to go in and open it up by hand, then it will work well for awhile. Is there anything that I can service on my own?

I have lubed the bypass valve several times with silicone spray lube, and it still sticks. Any other suggestions?

Can you see anyplace that is looks like it's sticking and rubbing? If so maybe a very small amount of sanding on that spot would work?
