Oh yeah, I see now how it looked that way. I need to double check it closer when I get my truck back from tuning. I started hearing almost a supercharger-like sound in addition to the turbo whistle the a few days ago that sounds like I have some type of leak somewhere. Maybe hotside or coldside. I looked from above and what I could see of it, all my of RTV was still there and not missing any spots (purposely didn't wipe off the excess that squeezed outside of the joint).

I had both crossover flange gaskets blow out too. Im going the remflex route too. Amazon has remflex 6-1/2"x11" gasket sheets for 28 bucks.

how would i do that? that would either require a new driver ex. manifold or cutting and welding a new flange on it

Got under last night to get my crossover pipe out, and found the reason why it blew the gasket. Lost 1 of the 3 bolts.

new gasket will be here today, gonna put lock washers on and call it a day. Pass gasket looked fine but i made a new one anyway and ill put a little rtv on it and call it a day

I meant. If you have 2 copper driver gaskets from company xyz
Then just take the bolt battery of one if the gaskets. Modify it to if the pass manifold.

We no longer use flat gaskets on any crossover.
We only use crush Ring gaskets from gm.
On both driver and passenger side mount points.

We have also started adding a slip joint and clamp to give slightlyore flex ability for width and rotation.

I have a flex pipe in my crossover. So there is a GM crush gasket that is a direct fit for the flange that comes on your manifold?

are you willing to share the part number?

btw your posts are extremely hard to understand lol

They make since to me.

The crossover flanges we now use and have been using for awhile are
Cut with a groove that accepts the standard crush GM driver side gasket.

This gasket is used on both sides. The driver and the passenger.

Flex joints are great and we have used them since we started building kits.
We just added a slip to add the last area of dimensional difference there could be from one truck to the next.

If your crossover flanges are flat. The GM gasket will not work for you.
It had to be captured in place.

Nope, The manifold is flat like it always has been.
Just like the driverside is flat.

Only the crossover flanges get oring grooved.
