About 14 pounds. The 16ga, mild steel one I built for a guy that was just about like mine weighted 7 pounds.

Yeah, we need more info on this Nitroplate finish. I was originally thinking about getting my KBRacing Hot-Pipes, Downpipe and turbine housing coated with Jet-Hot 2000 but that Nitroplate looks nicer.

Just google Nitroplate. It will be the first thing that comes up. They even have estimates on pricing.

Joey, how well it the bright finish holding up? It's says they only rate it to 1300* so I was just wondering...

No flaking, no peeling, no cracking, and still a nice lustery shine. I'll take pics when I'm home in a week. Its been on my truck for a year running upto 12lbs with no issues at all.

I just looked it up, 1,300° seems a little low for a turbo application. Jet-Hot has a sterling silver coating that is also good up to 1,300° and an extreme sterling coating that is good up to 1,700°. The Jet-Hot 2000 coating is good for 2,450° but it's only available in flat black or flat gray. I'm thinking that I'll probably still go with the Jet-Hot 2000 flat black coating, especially since all my cold piping will be powder coated flat black.

That's good to know. Probable means they rate the coating a bit on the low side.

I know these truck will run EGTs about 12-1400* in cruising when properly tuned and medium boost setups will run up to about high 1500 to low 1600's in boost. The most I ever saw with mine was when I was compounded with the MP t76 and the blower and it got to 1720's at the track. But these high temps are just the GAS temps when boosting hard, for seconds at a time and not continuous. So I don't think your going to get the piping that hot.
