Anybody else find it odd that after several years of GM incorporating the Eaton 1.9 and 2.3 blowers in their factory hot rods that the new COPO 5.3 Camaro offers a 2.9 or 4.0 blower? What happened to any blower bigger than 1.9 was overkill on an engine smaller than 6.0 liters?

And not to mention they are going whipple. I'm guessing its more of an efficiency on a stock based vehicle versus an all out production race car.

Now, a third engine choice has been added: another 327-cubic-inch engine but with a 2.9-liter supercharger for B Stock. If you want all three engines Chevy will install one and provide the other two, all with matching numbers.
