Default Convince me to keep my Radix......

Realisticly, with a Radix on my 6.0, if I installed a Transgo HD2 shitft kit, Corvette 2nd servo and Sonnax 4th servo plus some misc parts, and I drive normal meaning no drag racing-How long will my 4L65E trans last? I am way worried about losing my trans while towing my boat, and having to fight with the dealer about warranty work on anything attached to the Radix. Convince me to keep it.........

No. Give it to me, I'll find a good home for it, don't worry.

Lol, I know of at least one 6.0 with stock trans and Radix with 3" pulley hanging in there just fine with quite a few miles but I don't think he's towed much.
I would suggest a large trans cooler added to your list.

make sure you dont go with a huge stall... your trans will heat up big time...

2600 would be the most i would go with... but im not a trans expert... also what gears are you running in the rear end... also i wouldnt go with more than 1 washer in the accumulator... especially when towing... hard shifts with extra weight will only torch your output shaft...

Man this is tough. I got a good deal on it, but I am also dreading the install. I know I can do it no problem, but it is nice finally have'n a new truck that runs everytime I get in it. I guess I'll just have to say f-it and have my mechanic install it. Then all I gotta do is drive it.

install it yourself. its not hard at all. i know it looks like alot, but ready the install manual a couple times and dig in. you can do it!

i know of a couple different trucks that are holding up. justin (my tuner) has a ss with a cam, headers, radix (2.9 pulley?) and he works his pretty hard. the only thing hes done is a shift kit as well.
