My steps: Template , Outline , Cut , Dremel , Mount



You would buy the 90mm flange if you want the perfect finish of a real 90mm adapter and having the O-ring groove would be a nice touch. It would have to look stock, not like this.

What about the extra bolt? Using only 3 bolts?

Its mounted with all 4 bolts. Its firmly attached and certainly doesn't look hacked together. I'll post up a full reply later with better pictures and specific details on how to do it yourself.

Would having a thick flange be something you would be interested in? to say,.....mount nozzles of one kind or another?

I would suggest buying a flange and have it fabbed up on your existing J-Tube....Looks cleaner IMO.
