Forgot that part of the question. I asked the same thing and was told a bead! The tube also says a bead and don't move the piece laterally after they are mated. I know it spread well because it came out around the edges of the j tube when I bolted it back on... but it wiped right off with some solvent on a rag. Gotta tell ya it's DAMMED nice to be sharing some experiences instead of beggin for help. That **** gets real old.

Thanks,
I know what you mean. It seems Like all I do is ask for help and don't give anything in return. But I really appreciate all the help everyone here gives me. If it wasn't for you guys I would have a stock truck

My pleasure. The whole coversion really cleans up the front portion of the J-Tube. Looks much better IMO. That flange you designed really fits the bill nicely. I'm an attention to detail kinda guy and I can see alot of effort went into the design and fitment of the flange, Excellent work!

One thing that comes to mind about this mod is EGR. If you have EGR on your truck, you will need to bypass/block it....This will not be smog legal.

I would be willing to purchase one pretty much immediately if there is an exchange program worked out. I can't have my truck down for a week waiting for it to come back...it's the only mode of transportation I currently have.

Couple of questions:

1. The plastic Radix intake tube - does it have to be cut and taped up, or is there a new larger one available?

2. Is a complete package available, including TB, new J-tube, all gaskets and misc parts that are needed?

3. Can instructions be included to disable / remove the EGR system?

No one has asked or said what to torque the J tube bolts when putting them back in.

It took all the strength I could muster in my feeble ole hands to break those puppies loose with a 4" long 1/4" drive ratchet so that's how I put'm back in. No room to measure ft/pds.. no room to use anything but a stubby ratchet. It's measured in the debth and breadth of the grunt.
