Default considering swapping cams

Looking for some advice or personal experience. I am running the tr220 on a 112 right now with the mods listed below.Wanting to know if it is gonna be worth the time and money to swap over to a boost cam. And if so give me some recommendations. The truck is not my dd, so gas mileage, driving charaistics are no concern to me. Basically wanna make the most power possiable. Thanks Nick

I'd just run what you got now. Is your turbo kit already installed if so, What are your dyno numbers btw and what kind of dyno was it?

Sure you could find a cam that is more efficient, but I bet it does just fine with the Tr220. Yeah it's a single pattern cam, more people than you think run a single pattern cam for turbo kits in these trucks. Some people use the isky 220/220 or 218/218 cams for boost. If you aren't happy with your dyno numbers with the TR220 then try having EPS custom spec you a cam.

ls6 cams are cheap and work great with boost, then you can sell your 220 and be even at least.

The saying goes if it makes power NA it will make Power on boost. Just stick with the cam you have and if you are still unsatisfied then think about a boost cam.
