Ok came up with a list for maintenance-

- more frequent stops to the gas station
- may have to check your pants more often
- may develope slight case of lead foot
- tires tend to wear sooner
- fighting the ladies off with stick
- may have to offer counciling to the guy who just lost in his new GTO

well, I think that about sums it up.

Let me know if missed something

There is no downside on a properly installed turbo kit that is tuned right.Except the power that strains the driveline

Yep -- this is what I mean. I also change oil sooner than would on NA and change plugs sooner -- That's all. Routine maintenance stuff.

By oil consumption, I mean the increased probability of burning oil with your fuel, rather than having it drink oil. I mean a turbo can definitely cause that as your burn your rings, but so can everything

You definitely missed something, or you are simply not married

Huge potential maintenance item with having a turbo truck: the wife

yeah sweet, what kit do you have? im tryin' to decide between a IC radix and IC turbo, both are going to be around the same price.

are exhaust leaks common with so much tubing goin to the rear with the sts?
i know ive seen they come with seals and what not but will they last over time? or am i going to have to be replacing them every so often. so far the front mount is looking good.

I am married and have a 1 year old boy. Trust me I get alot of **** for spending money and working on my truck, Most of the time i have to say "babe i need to stay late tonight" so most of my mods are done here at work after hours, lol. Good thing I do the check book, much easier to hide where the money is going, he he!
