61cc compared to 66.7cc combustion chamber is where the compression is lost. I've seen lots of guy install LS1 heads on 5.3's like its some magical power adder....and end up loosing a ton of power.
They do have bigger valves though. I had some 243's but didn't wanna use them on this build. It's a pretty big charger. 80mm inducer and a 86m exducer.

Correct they are fine the way they are, the run a engine perfectly fine. Like anything else though there is lots of room for improvement.
