Yep, We're gonna give it a go with a blue printed 4.8, and a HUGE fuel system (ic 2000's and twin WB450's) with 100% E85. S480 T6 feeding a Magnum T60. Gonna push 20+ psi is the plan. Starting fabrication tomorrow

The 4.8 is the only engine where compound turbos isn't entirely useless. I still don't think I could justify it, though. That is unless I had a need for a ton of down-low torque with a small gas engine. lol

I put a single comp 7679 on my 6l last year with a 4" exhaust and free flowing cold air intake and it is the largest/fastest spooling turbo ive ever had on a v8

anything is worth trying once.. not doing it for full out racing but i do tow heavy loads with my truck and low end power is nice to have to get a load moving

Give it a try! Like I said about the one I'm trying, nothing ventured, nothing gained!

I really wish I would have spent more time adjusting and messing with the turbo/supercharger setup I had a few years ago.

yes i know its not pritty but it will work.. still making the driver side manifold.. plan on using the front part of the tubes for my waste gates once i order them. gonna do 50mm on each side. still thinking of a exhaust crossover to equalize pressure on both sides

Kind of my thinking... This is generally how compounds are setup, a diesel I6 but still same concept.
