Default changing supercharger oil

i read somewhere it is recomended to change oil in the nose drive of a blower every 30k miles or 36 months.
any details or insights?

I need to know as well. Although I've been told that our sidemount magnacharger blowers are sealed, but if thats the case, then why is a bottle of oil included in the kit???...... hopefully someone will chime in....

i know, i bought my truck used i dont know how long the blower has been on it. it runs good and the guy worked for the dealership, he had good driving habits and low milage. just dont know how often the blowers should be serviced.

I was told my Magnuson that my Radix was good to go for at least 50,000 and not to worry about it. Contact blownchevy. He works for them.

I remember reading somewhere that the Radix was good for 100,000 miles? I have about 75,000 on it and have not yet changed the oil.

I had to send my snout back for a rebuild (not related to the oil) and was not happy with what the oil looked like. It was black as tar and had powder-like filings in it. Needless to say, the oil that went in was 100x more clear. I had about 3k miles on the magnacharger. I posted pick at:
