Catch can for my procharger
#1
Hey guys I have been searching for a while now, this forum and elsewhere, and am now just confused and frustrated
I want to install a catch can on my truck the whole PCV system is completely stock. I am wondering how I should "plumb" the can up any help is greatly appreciated as always
Truck is 05 Silverado SS LQ9 w/Procharger as stated above PCV system is untouched short of the tee for my boost gauge.

I have an LS6 valley cover although I'm not sure how effective it really is. And FWIW, I vent off the passenger side only... although venting both sides, as mentioned above, is ideal.
Regarding "acid"... if you never get your oil to operating temps you run the risk of not evaporating any moisture / contaminants that has built up in the crank case. I've never had that problem... although I do live in Arizona
I have over 40k turbo miles... running synthetic oil and changing it every 5k miles. Oil pressure has not changed over the years so I'm not too worried about bearings...

That's good to know. I was just going to do like what was stated above, run a hose from each valve cover to a catch can. But someone told me to get a LS6 valley cover and do it like that. If I can avoid paying $100 for a valley cover, Id rather do it another way.

That's pretty much what I had planned. So no vacuum lines going to the intake at all? Just cap everything off exept the valve covers?

Rx dual check valve catch can, breather on oil fill, driver side PVC line to can, then one of the check valved lines runs to the intake manifold and the other to the inlet pipe on the procharger. Only way to get crankcase vacuum under idle and under boost without a vacuum pump.
