As I've been scouring fleabay for a used hotside for my NNBS 5.3, I came across the following cast manifold hotside. I thought it was a Trick or Hooker kit at first glance. Found it on ebay and amazon, but no actual helpful reviews or builds with it online. Looks like it would be more solid than the janky header style and allow access to plugs and maybe even no plug wire change, or AC beyond what one would expect with a kit. Has anybody used it yet? Thoughts?

 

If that is the waste gate location on the cross over pipe I would pass on it unless you can relocate it closer to where the turbo would be.

 

You get what you pay for, for what it’s worth my Trick setup has been great.

 

I have a Huron Speed V3 kit and it has been great. I would wait until you see a used kit pop up on here or the facebook group. If anything you just need the manifolds and can get any exhaust shop or someone with fab skills to weld a cross over.

 

I had a buddy who used it without issues. It fit his truck with ac etc.

 

why? kb racing uses it there, and trick uses the wastegate in the crossover on the newer trucks.
