Default Can't Decide On Boost...

I am new here and I've built a truck till now. Its time for boost and there are just so many different opinions but not many answers. I have a 2012 Ext Cab Short Bed 4x4 silverado 1500 w/ 5.3l. So far I have Corsa Cat back, Dynatech long tubes, K&N CAI, Top end built, Comp Cams 210/224, AFM delete and finally Dyno tune using HP Tuners. Now with that I was dead set on getting a magnacharger for this, but I'm thinking that isnt the best way to go. My tuner suggested to turbo and a few other performance shops suggested procharger. I'm trying to get some advice from the community on what is an induction that will suit my goal. I'd like to see my truck hit 12s in 1/4 and be able to still drive it. This is my DD. Im trying to figure out if anyone has a supercharger suggestion to suit me? Thanks for all advice.

You said DD so magnachargrr also gets my vote. Loved mine when I had it. Turbos are a lot more work and maintenance. Procharger would be second choice but roots blowers are way more fun on a dd.

Magnacharger will do everything you said you were looking for. And it will do it well, and reliably.

Manga charger or procharger. I would say procharger if you want to room to grow.

I was facing the same decisions basically. I ended up turbo at the last minute and it was quick for what it was but I still wish I would have done Magnacharger in the end for a DD.

Thanks for the input guys. I had all intentions on magnacharger like I had said but with tons of other opinions I thought maybe I was missing something. Looks like I will stick to my original plan and put a magnacharger on. Does anyone know the best place to purchase one and mayber save a few dollars?

The Maggie 1900 on your 5.3 with that cam will be an absolute beast!

As far as where to buy... you may want to keep your eye on the classifieds unless you're in a rush.

What is wrong with a turbo-Daily drive?
Thats not cool to read after I've bought pretty much everything I need for my turbo install and just waiting for my Finish line 4L80-L4 to show up to get it all done..

Nothing...just realize it will take more maintenance compared to other forms of boost. The top end of a turbo is hard to beat though.
