Hey guys, I just picked up a set of AFR 205's, and I'm searching for a good cam grind for my setup for my 69'. It's gonna be the AFR heads, Kenne Bell 2.6 (maybe 2.8) blower @12psi for street, 4.8 crank, SCAT Pro-Comp 6.125 rods, Diamond (maybe Mahle) blower pistons (8.3:1), T56 (might go TKO600 haven't decided yet), Spec Stage 3+ clutch. I'm thinking a cam like this, came up with these numbers last night:
224/236 .585/.595 114LSA, Comp Cam Grind
It seems like it would be a good cam for my setup, it's basically a destroked LS1, so I'm looking for a quick revving and high revving (7K) setup. 312ci FTW! I might just get a stock LS6 cam, Kenne Bell made 601 RWHP on 8psi with a stock LS6 and 90mm throttle body, and my AFR's will outflow the LS6 heads and 12psi should put it around 650-700rwhp. Opinions?
