You can make plenty of power with the GT2-3...check out my dyno.

It idles like stock, plenty of vacuum.

Just got off the phone with thunder and they recommended their blower cam. Similar to the CheatR just has a diff. exhaust lobe to minimize overlap. Too bad the kits are so expensive.

Any one try it?

Contrary to popular belief, you can run a fairly large cam with boost.

Your not going to "blow it out the tailpipe" especailly when your talking a few degrees at 0.050" Besides, getting rid of the exhaust residual is not bad!

You'd be surprised....

Some blowers won't have a problem because you can continue to pulley down for boost. Take a 5.3 engine for instance... but on a 6 liter... you run out at the 2.75 pulley on the radix unless you go with a custom crank pulley. Several of us have been throught this with REAL experience.

With a bigger blower you can run any damn cam you want... lol

Why would you want to bleed excess boost when its already a very precious commodaty with 112 radix on a 6.0? Its been shown time and again you have to spin it too fast to keep the boost up when adding any substantial mods to that setup. I dont know of anyone getting more then 9#s out of a cam, lt header and good exhaust radix setup on a 6.0, and thats with IATS damn near boiling by the time you hit the end of the 1/4.

I want to be able to get/keep as much boost as possible. I was getting heat soak on the dyno and thought with Lts, cam, methonal, efans i could get the power i wanted. sounds like i will have to up the boost even still and then battle with IATs again. Guess I will hit the wall with power.

You're exactly right. The problem with a big cam in this situation is the blower being too small for a big cam. The 112 just can't move enough air efficiently without creating too much heat when running a bigger cam.
