Default Cam for 5.3L TVS 1900

My truck has full bolt ons, tranny, rear end etc. So its got all teh goodies. I wanna run a TVS 1900, but I believe my current cam, 212/218 isnt going to be good enough for the tvs 1900. What is a good blower cam everyone has been running on 5.3L wiht supporting mods?

thanks

lol far from new...jsut wanted to make sure.

Im torn from getting a tvs 1900 kit, or picking up a new roush 1900 from Kbracing that he has....What size pulley would make 450-500 rwhp on my setup?

dunno what to do

Im not shooting to save $$, but if its bascailly the same setup for 2g's cheaper id be stupid not to jump on that

They are the same compress, just different manifolds. The R units sit taller. I have had both and I actually like the lower manifold better on the R units. It has runners to the cylinder ports where the Magi is just an open tub. Power wise, I've seen pretty close to the same power boost for boost between the two units.

We will find out soon .

Orig Poster, check out skipperdaddys Roush TVS 1900 on his 5.3 , 522RWHP.

Not too shabby in my book.

Save some cash if you can, its what its all about. The roush kit is very nice, just not a "complete" bolt on like a maggie. But its no biggie to install.

Also i have a plan in action for changing pulleys on the roush unit.
