cam ?4a 5.3..

Im putting together an stock 5.3l for boost, and I had this cam sitting at my shelf..
Comp cam

620-589
293-293
239-240
113+5 lsa
Had heads refresh3angle valve job,and good springs.

Is this for a turbo or supercharger? In either case it seems a bit large for a 5.3 if I am reading the numbers correctly. Stock48 has proven you dont need a large cam in these engines to move out under boost.

That cam is way too big if it is a 239°/240° .620"/.589" 113° +5° (108° ICL).
That looks like a normally aspirated cam for a street 402. And that ICL is weird.
You want something more like a 218°/218° .530"/530" 115° +2° (113° ICL). The MAX I would go on a turbo 5.3 is a 224°. You don't need huge lift numbers either as the heads probably will not flow that lift.
