I would love to add tvs and heads but I only drive this truck maybe once or twice a month so don't want to spend too much money on it.

That cam in a 408 is going to be as tame as a stocker. Might be able to do a little with the tune and lower the idle speed to make a little cam music. You'll have your crazy low end torque....that's for sure

Yep. I had a 215/227 in a 364 that was barely noticable. In a 408, it would have sounded stock like. Extra cubes will eat up duration and overlap. More cubes demand more cam.

On the dyno, it will do fine. Probably as good or better than a cam that makes more cam noise. You're a bit limited by your blower. The cam won't be what holds you back. Should be very responsive to any little twitch of your right foot

Very cool info yah I was thinking smaller is better throttle responce and makes more low end torque = more fun

Yes the radix is lil small I think it's 1.9L Its exactly what i want for low end power and throttle responce it's more than enough 4me.. what I like doing with this truck is take my 3 yr old son burn some rubber give him a smoke show and just watch him screeming and laughing I love it.

Anyway thanks a lot for info guys it was very informative
