I have a factory fuel pump assembly for sale if you wanted to do twin 255's yourself. You already have one, so you would need to buy another one for $100 and then the necesary plumbing.

I think 700rwhp is about the limit of a 255 feeding an 044. The 044 will flow more than the 340 at 4 bar fuel pressure.

I understand what your getting at but
To solve any confusion, its not that I want to skimp on a fuel system I just do not want to buy a 1500 dollar fuel system that's good for 1000 hp if my goal is only 700.

Anyway Thanks for the help guys. I think I know what I will be doing now. Build thread coming soon

Geeze, 700 at the rear! That makes my tahoe look like a 4 banger.

I am still rocking the stock FF pump with a Kenne Bell boost a pump on a return system with 75# injectors. Holds AFR stable all the way past 6,000 on E85. Though I am making 200+ less rwhp than you, I am running E85 which needs a lot more fuel (10 afr for e85 compared to 14.7 for 93).

What is your budget then?

A good fuel system WILL be nearly $1000 DIY, not really a good way to get around that

Injectors
Rails
Pump(s)
FITTINGS <-- biggest spender
Lines
Filter
etc

Of all the thinks to cut corners on, fuel isnt one of them. Have to little and the engine is a dud. Have a problem and the truck burns to the ground

Won't the twin 255's or the 044 overpower his stock regulator??? he has the old style return system.
