Everyone knows the 6.0L makes gobs more power than the little 5.3L

lol, seriously though, I'd expect a much better low end with the added cubes. There's no replacement for ________.

i'm kinda looking at the same thing. 346 vs 370. lots of pluses for 370. its bigger, it can fit l92 heads. ....... but just wondering how much better gas mileage would the 346 get over the 370?

To be honest I didn't feel much difference SOTP with the swap. However similar air and setup (slightly different cam) there was at least .5 drop in ET with the 6.0. Best I ever went with the 5.3L was 13.1. First outing to the track with the 6.0 went 12.7.

my 5.3/65E/TT3000 setup was ok
the 6.0/65E/TT3000 was a tire waster at its finest!! (13.3@102)
the 6.0/80E/Stock TC is the best combo out of those.. ive gone faster on it than anything..(13.2@104) and i like it the best..

everybody wants a 6L... haha why not?

The 6.0L will ultimatly make more power because of the better flowing heads, the CI's don't hurt either Remember you are going to probably need at least a T70 to feed those CI's at 6000' elv.

Isn't that order backwards?

How? My sis-in-law had a 1500 HD: 12.5 mpg. She drives like a granny. Maybe it's how she'd roll on & off gas. How 1 drives can do it, I guess.

Only downside I see is mileage. See my above comment. I need more evidence. A friend said his 6L swilled gas too.
