I had 1psi boost from clogged cats, and that was with a N/A engine. It got to the point where it wouldn't even run. Don't let it get that far. Oh yeah, they did make a noise too after awhile. Not necessarily a maracha sound but close. Only when you reved it too.

I really don't think its something with your engine, but check out your oil and see if there are shavings or particles in it. I always cut apart the filter to see. It could be the rear main bearing making that noise, but I doubt it.

Oh yeah, check your freakin' boost gauge. I don't see how the boost could be creeping up so much like that though.

Glad to see I could help you put the blower back on.

Onyx if you put a jet engine on you will have to worry about sucking up rice. Just make sure you mount it so that if you do and the compressor blades or t wheel start spitting blades you dont get hit

i'll do a TF-34, so i will have alot of bypass air and not worry about ingesting into the compressor section. i will just have to figure out where to mount the APU so i dont scorch anyones ride next to me.

You could put in a turboprob turbine. Mate that to a 4L80E. Switch out a couple gears so that it puts 6000rpm out of the gearbox instead of the 2000rpm or so on the turboprops. Something like on the king air 90's would probably work.

You ever hear the story about Jay Leno riding his turbine powered bike around LA? Seems that one day he was in a left turn lane waiting to turn. He looks in the rear view camera and sees a bumper on a lexus behind him fold in on itself because of the heat.

The turbofan in the bed would be kinda like that.
