Boost going crazy!!!
#1
I tried searching for something similar to this but didn't find any....
I recently noticed as I just changed the charger pulley for more boost.
I floor it at 45 mph in 2nd and goes to 9 psi and right before shifting to 3rd (like at 70ish mph), it drops to 6 psi. It shifts to 3rd and climbs back to 8 psi and slightly wants to drop again. Sometimes it just jumps to 6 psi through out the whole gear.
Weird thing is that today morning, I went to test it again freshly turned on out of the garage.....just warmed up what it took to drive half a mile. It made 10 psi in 2 pulls and just went down to 8 1/2 psi on 3rd and was climbing up normally again. But then it warmed up at normal engine temp, and started to do the same crap. I Recorded some runs with the interceptor scanner for throttler position % cuz i thought maybe some kind of torque management might be causing to close the throttle. I have checked for elbows that might be damaged but they haven't been touched since I installed my procharger. Plus I don't think is something with it cuz of the 10 psi pulls it did.
I'm cracking my head here
!!! Has anybody gone through this? I'm thinking maybe it has to do something with the torque management tables.

I don't know about that,....I had the 3.7 pulley from ATI and had little belt dust stained on the charger and bracket. But I put on the Richard racing billet pulley built for slippage and seemed to work cuz there's no more belt dust. Unit and bracket are clean.

I don't know.....I was thinking in trying to take it off and put a straight pipe. This Procharger system is not even that used. Barely getting to 3k. I wouldn't want to think that maybe something from it already gave out. But who knows.
