good thinking, just open up a jy 6.0 and open up that gap on the rings and you are good to roll

I've never really watched the boost gauge but off foot brake, stock vacuum style booster and no 2 step, 4L80E with yank PY3400 3.73 gears I've been 1.38 60' at 4800+ lbs. JY 6.0L with JFR Isky triple 12 cam, and BW S480 1.25 T4. Im thinking boost is 8~10 psi on launch. Any more truck will go apeshit and crow hop all over.

I did 30+ by accident once...didnt hop, just spun

Brakes are 05+ fronts, suv rears, and hydroboost. Its also easier for 4wd guys to foot brake vs 2wd guys.

On a track if the front unloads it will usually hop, better shocks really help.

I know it has been convered many times but putting your trans in neutral and hit the throttle 2-3 times while applian the brake paddle hard will make you brake more for more boost

Is this how everybody does it or is there any better way?
