Default Boost and EGT location??

Just got my radix blower and am going to be starting it soon hopefully. Where does one hook up the boost/vacuum guage at and what is the best place to locate exhaust probe. It is stock exhaust piping from engine to muffler (duals to muffler). I have the dual guage setup that mounts above the center mirror and am curious if running the vacuum hose that far will be a problem. Thanks in advance.

Cool

I think that the vacuum hose will be OK if you don't kink it or constrict it. The guys run vacuum hose from the intake manifold to the rear turbos and they seem to work fine. The vac/boost should hook up to a nipple after the throttle body and rotors and probably to a nipple on the back of the intake manifold. Not sure about the EGT probe. You should look into getting a fuel pressure gauge as well.

What is the fuel pressure guage necessary for? I am using this for towing applications only and can not see why fuel pressure should be monitored for anything but racing. Correct me if I am wrong, soon please.

the f/p gauge is an additional safequard to make sure you don't end up in a lean condition. unless you install a wideband setup you really don't know where your afr's are and monitoring f/p will ensure you are getting enough fuel. if you are running the stock readix setup you could probalbly do without but it's cheap insurance.
welcome to the world of continuing upgrades.....
the boost gauge connects to the rear of the blower intake, there is a brass plug and a nipple there, the boost gauge goes on the nipple, install a vacuum line there before you drop the blower on the engine, just makes it easier than doing it afterwards.

Thanks, do you know what size of hose I need, 1/8" or 1/4"? I am not close to the blower. Do you think the EGT will show a lean condition and I can pick up on it that way? Might be harder to narrow it down to loss of fuel pressure I guess.

not sure on hose size, probably 1/8, i didn't install mine yet.
can't be sure on egt for leanness, higher temps could mean lean or other stuff too.
