I think it's 112" for 5.3L motors. I have a 111.5" belt waiting for my smaller pulley.

You THINK? That doesn't sound like you. So I just took off a perfectly good belt that didn't seem to be slipping and put on an EXPENSIVE longer one that now might slip. Oh well, it would be the first wrong part I've put on it.

Remember that boost is a measure of resistance in the inlet tract. So with his larger cam, the engine is allowed to flow more air and less resistance, hence the drop in boost.

Going from the stock 190/191 cam to the 205/212 gives 15* more duration on the intake side. lift has gone from ~.450" to .547 also.

Alrighty mister....if you insist!

On Page 2 of the Radix Truck Instructions it clearly states: "Drive belt is a Gates #K061120", which of course translates into 112".

So yes, it would appear that you've installed your first wrong part. Is that kind of like your first ding?

One minute behind you. Yes it was a 112. I went out in the Katrina rain and found the part number on the Radix tag. Thanks for looking it up. That's what I get for listening to Grippy. My first ding.

Yep, Building a better air pump. With another air pump on top of it.

Ah, blaming grippy because you couldn't turn to Page 2 of the instructions?

It's fifty lashes with a wet noodle for you!

you both need to pay attention to details, that part# is for a 112.5" belt or 2860mm.
