What springs are you running? Is there any belt dust on the pulleys? Have you hooked up a different boost/vac gauge at all to see if its your guage? 3psi is sure a big diff. from a cam like that.
CompCams 918 springs, no sign of slippage, dust. Straight steady boost. I've not hooked up another gauge, never gave it a second thought.

edit: yes cam installed straight up with 4 degree advance ground in.

I like your blatant disregard for the longevity of my expensive equipment.

Yes, which was voided when I put the 3.25 on it technically. At 2.75 it would probably be my engine letting go not the radix.

I'm thinking the 3.1 will get me to 9-10 psi. Unless something is wrong. 2.75 guessing at 12-13 psi.

Now you guys have me worried. I am going to have a look at my crank pulley. Mark it to make sure it isn't spinning.

Given it the good look over. No evidence of belt slip. No evidence of balancer pulley turning. I am confident the boost gauge is correct. Truck runs great, solid steady instant boost to 6 maybe 6.5 at shift. No studders, no surges, good steady pull. I lost 2 to 3 psi boost when I installed the cam. I guess installing the new pulley will be the true test. Wish I had it tonight. The air is great
