Default book or links for 1st timer?

whats up fellas? heres the deal, ive been stock piling all my parts, gettin ready to start my turbo 5.3 build.. ive been into/ built lowriders for most of my life, and im a l painter/body man/fabricator for over 10yrs.. so i consider my self VERY mechanically inclined. Im looking for some books or some type of reading material, that can explain everything to me..
any help is greatly appreicate, as im gettin ready to buy a new, house gettin ready for another addition to the family, money is very tight, plus ive ALWAYS done my own work on my vehicles, kinda a pride thing i suppose. anyhow again any help is greatly appreicate.
