hello everyone,
i have 2005 1500 with a 5.3 sts kit

Well it was in a bad wreck and had to replace the bed, while the bed was off i i decided to rewire the truck, had made the ultimate rookie mistake.

I installed my pump backwards so instead of it suckin oil out the turbo, it was blowin the oil back into turbo.

well after 6 or so sec of truck running i noticed that turbo was blowin A ton of oil everywhere..

Checked all my wiring an found out i wired with my pump back wrong so i fixed it an now the turbo seal is blowin.

So any advice on what to do to fix the turbo or buy a new one?

 

now that you fixed it, when you turned it on again, where exactly did the oil come out of?
