Default biggest hp/tq response on 6L Chevy truck

Just purchased a ‘14 Silverado HD2500 crew cab 4 pulling my 5th wheel travel trailer. Only 20K miles on truck & would like to increase hp/tq. without damaging internals, trans. or rear end & like to maximize mileage if possible. Just installed cat-back stainless dual exhaust but no other mods so far. Thanks 4 your suggestions. Bryan, Calgary, Alberta, Canada

I have to agree. Bolting on a blower is the best way to add tq. as they come out of the box without tearing into the engine your MPG shouldn't go down either.

Maximizing mileage with a 6.0 in that kind of truck is like asking if pigs can fly.

TVS1900 or procharger. Very one knows by now I'm a turbo guy but. that truck, tow 5th wheel, torque and ease of use.... Have to say Supercharge, headers, exhaust and tune.

Wouldn't the 6.0 respond better to a 2.9 instead of the 1900?

I've been impressed with it as it came. I didn't want to change pulleys and do mods to start (now I do lol). But the 1900 has plenty of steam if you pulley down. Look what Vortec 350ss did with that big *** truck!
