Default Bigger Injectors?

hey guys, i got a buddy putting a procharger on his 05, hes putting his cam in next week i believe, but he isnt sure if he would have to get bigger injectors to replace the stock ones for this set up? and if so what size would be best recommended?

So is the procharger already on? Cam or not he is going to need bigger injectors for the Procharger, fuel pump as well.

no he doesnt have the procharger on yet, and he is putting the cam in i think this coming weekend, what size do you think he should get? and what kind of fuel pump?

5.3 or 6.0 engine, how many lbs of boost?? 42lb injectors at a min, but depends on his goals, he might want 60s

procharger and cam? nothing less than 42# but would probably look for 60# cause sure he is gonna need them. once you start, its a downhill run from there. lol.

hahaha damn thats the truth, he has a 4.8L, i think hes going to push about 6 lbs of boost or so, i found some 44 lb injectors for him, but idk if they will work cause they are some "shorty" style injectors? i found them on new era

If you can find the delphis 42 or 44, plug and play.. Should be good for 6psi and a cam..

my z06 camed 4.8 at 9lbs was pretty much out of injector. on 42lbers.

yeah they were delphi multec 2 shorty #44lb injector. whats the deal with the shorty?
