best place to run gauge wiring '15 LTZ

Default best place to run gauge wiring '15 LTZ

installing 3 gauge pillar pod on 2015 Silverado ltz

any thoughts on best place to run wiring, etc thru front firewall into engine bay?

gauges are boost/vac, wideband and 2 sender iat

I've read before that there is a port/hole/whatever in the driver's door jam. You could run the wires down by the interior fuse box and through that hole if it's there. Definitely post pics when you're done with everything. I'm curious about the pod itself and the fit/finish once attached.

it's my son's truck and I'm 1500 miles away. will see it late next week...have 15 days to install gauges, whipple 2.9 and tune...

will try to get pics....lol

for the wideband remove the door sill plate and lift the carpet and i belive the speedo cable grommet is there, you can cut that and run wiring through that. for the other gauges on the drivers side fire wall there should be a big grommet with alot of wires running through you can to through there then run them up the dash to the pillar.

It's the gromet for the emergency brakes. I have used that location for for my wide band and a couple other accessories, just put some RTV there after you poke some holes to seal it back up. There is also a location up high on the firewall above the brake booster that I have used for boost since I didn't want to run it back down the floor to go in that gromet.
