thanks for all the responses i think the airraid seems to be the most popular does anyone have a good place to get them. also what else would be a good mod for the pickup

The only thing that has concerned me about the volant is that the top of the airbox does not seal very good. there is a rubber gasket, but its not torqued down very good. I have two thoughts:
1. I am sucking tons of hot air from the engine bay
2. or the suction creates a better seal to the system
I am curoius if the airraid would be a benificial upgrade just for this reason. My baseline dyno run told me that the modifications I did before the radix were not extremely benificial, a 230hp dyno is very close to what others dyno stock.
Am I happy with the volant = I guess.
would I be happier with a airraid = Id probably never know the difference
