I have owned both a radix and a STS rear mount turbo kit....Both are great power adders, however the STS is just a bit laggy for me. IMHO until somone has a complete bolt on no-bullshit front mount turbo kit then the STS is your only turbo choice. Trick Performnace has a nice kit from the pictures, however I cannot comment on the install or completeness of the kit since we have not sold or installed one.
After driving my truck with the STS rear mount I am very satisfied with the power it makes. It is pretty much a bolt on and go system, however some of the supporting parts that come with it are less than acceptable by my standards. Power adder to Power adder, the Radix was more fun on the street/strip, the STS makes more TOP end power. Once the EATON TVS becomes available then there will be only ONE choice for a power adder IMHO.
To answer the original question, if you are looking for a complete ready to install supercharger system, the Radix by Magnuson is your ONLY choice. Give me a call if you are interested in a quote.

i am excited to see what people do with the tvs units. they will really expand the range of a great daily driver and the potential for gobs of hp.... that being said i will still run a turbo

Remember, I am not trying to put down the turbo as a power adder.....Some people will not want the added work that goes with one.
I am glad I have had the experiance with the turbo that I have, it helps me understand where you turbo guys are coming from

I've been obsesed over this for a long time and didn't want to jump into things and not be happy with my choices. After a lot of thought I'd have to go with the Kenne Bell.
I think Brian (JPA) said it best in the differences between a turbo and a supercharger. He should know, he's put together two incredible engines and posted the results on here.
I feel the Magnussen is an excellent blower, if you can find a good used kit or even a new one it's priced pretty reasonably for the power you'll get back in return. The kits, like everyone says are complete. All you have to do is turn a wrench and in a weekend you'll have it installed. For DD I think you'll really like the kit and it will be pretty happy.
I think Kenne Bell is just a better designed blower (for now)and worth the extra money. You'll spend around $250 more for their 2.4L kit than a 112H Radix(new to new) Why I think it's better is because it's going to make more power than the 112H would apples to apples(not a ton more). And it should because it's a bigger sized supercharger. The most important reason to me is that when you push the Kenne Bell and really work it hard it's not going to fade like the Radix will from heat soak. I'm talking about running the most boost, the most timing possible on a hot day. Because the blower is bigger and how it compresses the air rather than pushing it like the Radix. The air moving through the KB stays cooler allowing more boost and more timing which in return equals more power. Also if you want to go crazy and use a ton of boost(12-15 lbs) on a built motor down the road some time the KB can do that too. So you won't have to upgrade, that compressor on a 5.3 is bigger than you ever need no matter how crazy you get.
They say that KB is hard to get ahold of, I think that sometimes this is true too. But every instance where a problem needed fixed (from the few people I've talked to)KB was extremely helpful and did a good job. I just think that you're getting something that will meet almost all of your needs no matter what the future holds. That's worth the extra money to me.
As of now it's a newer option that not a lot of people have experienced. If I get the time to put the kit in late this summer I plan on buying a KB 2.4 for my LQ4 6.0. So by then I will have experience rather than word of mouth with is what counts. Best of luck with your decision.

If you can wait I'd like to see what the new TVS is going to do. I think that the 1900 will do everything that the KB 2.4 will just as good. I'm just worried that they'll price it too high relative to the KB, making the KB still the better choice now based on price.
