do i need to change the belt if i put the 2.8 pulley on the radix

Maybe. Does your accessory bracket have an adjustable idler pulley? If not, you will probably need a shorter belt.

yeah, you do. When I changed mine my belt did not last too long...it shredded. I added 100mm pullies and it was a snug fit.
