Default Beginning Mods...TBSS

Finally starting to have time and money to build my TBSS. I will be looking at either a supercharger or having someone build me a turbo setup. I want to keep the truck streetable, but I am looking for performance. I found a good deal on LEP's Blower cam. The specs are 224/230 116 LSA. I am wondering if this cam would be good for both applications, Supercharger/turbo? The cam is specd for the maggie. Any advice on which application to look more into (maggie, procharger, turbo)? Thanks in advance. Coach

I am some what partial to the MagnaChargers. The biggest thing is to decide where you want to be and then look at the supporting modifications needed.

I prefer to build in stages to enjoy the vehicle and prolong the fun of the build. I enjoy the build more then the fiished product but everyone is different.

Make sure that the foundation is built early to support the performance you desire in the end. There is nothing worse then building something twice.

Couldnt agree more. I plan to do it in steps. After FB season, I will be doing the transmission, fans, cam, and headers (unless go turbo). I am trying to get the first round done for the ls1truck gtg at SAR in February. We will see.
