The Beast is done.
#1
Yeah it is done, I finally finished my Denali 6.2, I installed a ECS supercharge kit and it is the first Denali with this kit as I know, we worked a lot with Doug to finish this
Project (Thank you Doug), I faced some problems here and there being the US spec’s totally different that Middle east spec’s but we go over them all.
To tell you about my impression, I’m too happy I got more than what I expect, really I didn’t imagine the power of this car after the kit, I’m in the same level of some sport cars, I tried with a Z350 from roll and it wasn’t stock it is a turbo 350 and I smoked him, then I tried with Shelby with the same result as the Z. that’s make a big smile on my face I never ever imagine this things especially with 6 PSI.
Let us go back and see some pictures and I will tell you more after that.
Here is the supercharge installed

I cut in the front bumper back of the lower grill and I made a duct to force the air go throw the intercooler. It was totally blocked.

Being the weather over here too hot I installed Methanol Injection to reduce the heat of the engine.

After that I change the location of the IAT sensor

Test and Tune
I tried my car using Dashhawk, using method before/after test to make a base line to see where I'm after the modifications so here is the result.
0-60 Test
Stock : 7.4
Tune with 4.5 rear end: 6.1- 6.2
After installing the Supercharge and all the modification I did, with the base line tune sent by Doug the car did 0-60 in 5.0 and the weather was the main factor on doing good or bad on those times, cold weather less time, bad weather bad times. But usually it was between 5.0 – 5.4
After that I took my car to a local guy to tune it, after spending one and half hour on road test here is the result

woow, before trying the car he asked me what is my guess? I said it might be 4.8 but not less than that, the first run was 4.64 and the second run we did 4.60.
I said it is enough I don’t think I’m going to add anything for this car, the supercharge kit make everything for me.
Thank you very much Doug I know it is hard sometimes to help some one on the tune when the car not with you and with totally different weather than where you live but the good part…THE BEAST is done.
