Default basic radix questions

a buddy of mine wants a little more power. he has an 05 1500 4door 4wd.

with the standard pully and magna tune what are the before and after hp numbers?

about what are the before and after 1/4 mile times?

how long will the stock tranny last if he isn't the type to beat on it constantly?

does magna still offer the power train warranty? if so how much and do they really cover a burnt up tranny? who is allowed to fix it if it does burn up a tranny?

I went from 303hp to about 450hp iirc?
Times went from 15.03 to 13.3 overnight! Never ran a 14.

Never ran the stock trans. Probably not too long.

I never dynoed but went from a 14.9 @ 89mph to a 13.25 @ 101mph in my SS. Lowest 60' with that setup was a 1.79.

I did have a 3" pulley(7.5psi), headers, and 160 stat at the time.

I don't know about the other stuff.

Stock I went 15.8 with 251rwhp. I gained 119rwhp and went to 370rwhp. At 370rwhp, I went to 14.09 at 95mph with a 2.1 60'. Those are stock/radix comparison. No other mods.

I used the warranty. They have a limit of like maximum $50.00/hour for labor. Anymore and the customer must pay out the pocket. The customer must also authorize the shop to tear down the stuff at there initial expense. The shop needs to tear down the stuff and identify which parts are damaged. An inspector will come out in 3 to 5 days and warranty most of the labor and only some of the parts. Dont go to a shop with more than a $50 hourly rate and you will be fine. There is also a $2,000 maximum allowable payout for the transmission for the warranty period.

100-120 RWHP is the average gain, some see more.

the average drop in ET is 1.5-2.0 seconds depending on your short times.

I am went 30K on the stock trans, and only change it because I still had some warranty left. Now 65K on a stock rebuilt GM 65-E. The life of the trans depends solely on the right foot of the driver.

The power train warranty is available for showroom vehicles or vehicles that have less than 35K on the clock. It will only cover the vehicle through the 3/36 factory warranty. The supercharger system would need to be installed by a ASE certified mechanic in order to be valid.

I ran 12.3 @ 109 on my stock trans with shift kit and servos. Never had an issue with the trans. That was with full bolt ons and smallest radix pulley I could get.
