Default Backfire sound!!!

Well the supercharger is in... and we have only had one problem and thats keeping the joints sealed up....

Is there a certain gasket or sealer that would work best!????

Would that leak cause a backfire sound...

Also Where is the best place I can get a Flexplate from.... My stock one is going out...

Thanks guys!!!

I would try a hose coupler along with the sealant. I would think that it would just stay together. What changed from sierras setup to yours that is making it not seal.

Where are the leaks coming from? and why do you think your flexplate is going bad?

The leaks are coming from where the 90* TB adapter for the 03 model (from yellows 02) meets the back of the supercharger....

Then I have taken the truck to 4 different shops and they all have said it was the Torque converter, or ??Trans pump?? or the flywheel(flexplate)....

Nothing in the engine or anything like that..

Me and yellow loged the truck last night, when it wasnt leaking and between 18-22 degrees of timing with a little fuel added it had 0 Knock retard...

The IAT's stayed @ around 95-111.....

The fuel trims looked good...

My boost guage hasnt come in yet to see what kinda boost Im getting... but I can definently feel a HUGE difference.....

My 3000 stall should be going in within the next week or so as well as fixing what ever is wrong...

Then I can get to the track and put some new numbers up......
