I think I have seen a test on another site of the vic Jr ill try and find it.... But dont people just run the vic Jr because they have boost? I Dont think I have seen a vic Jr used in a N/A setup?

makes some sense i guess, but it makes me think because if you have 2.5'' I/C piping compared to 3'' or 3.5'' for some, that the sizing in that would make a difference. So why not a Tb where it is the last place before entering an intake? im not saying your wrong at all im trying to figure this out and learn b/c i plan on doing this too.

I can see how different size I/C pipe can make a difference because look atthe length of pipe your using. You talking a good length of size dif from one pipe to another. A bigger pipe flows more volume. When it comes to the TB your only working with the thickness of the TB and compared to the piping the TB I cant see making a huge dif between sizes because your working with such a small dif in air flow. If any of that makes sence lol

TB size to charge pipe size is like comparing apples to oranges... On a turbo setup, the intake is by far the biggest restriction in airflow relative to the charge pipes and TB. Increasing the size of the charge pipes holding the intake as a constant won't increase power because airflow at the intake hasn't increased, and won't without an increase in boost. The result would simply be a slower spool time due to the increased volume of the charge pipes. That is why STS kits use 2.5" charge pipes, to keep the total volume minimal due to the length of charge piping required by the rear mount. So, the vast majority of the gains come from airflow/distribution improvements within the intake itself. I am sure there are gains to be had from upgrading to a 102mm TB over the 87mm, but they would be minimal relative to those from the intake itself, especially in a boosted situation. Someone correct me if I'm wrong here
On another note, I'm curious as to what kind of gains you saw from this intake three6?

Thats right, and i couldn't think of anything to compare it to thats why i went with I/C piping. it makes complete sense and i see why most people use the ls2 throttle bodys more than buying the 102mm throttle body now.
Im also curious too see what gains you saw from this intake.

I'm sure I had some good gains I just will never know the exact number as the same day I installed the FAST I went up in boost from 7 to 10. Truck sure felt good lol and now that im on a whole new motor and setup ill never know what gains I saw.
