Just wondering if anyone has supercharged a 5.3L ECSB Z71? What kind of setup did you you go with, and how much power did you make? I want to do a supercharger on my Z71, just haven't decided on a root style or centrifugal style supercharger. Thanks.

You haven't looked around the forum much huh? Must be dozens of spercharged Z71's, myself included. The Radix is by far the most popular but we have a few Procharger, Whipple and KB guys here too. Let's not forget all the turbo guys as well.

I love my roots style. Cant beat the radix imo.

 

I took my dad with me today to the track. I only got one run in but he said everybody in the stands where he was standing said the same thing, "Holy fuggin chit. That big *** truck just whooped his ***!" FI on the EC's is something to talk about. Just remember the heavier they are the harder they fall. (They tend to break things more often)

Anyone run a centrifugal style on a truck like mine, or are most of all yall with 4WD 5.3's doing root styles?

 

I run a Procharger on mine.

 

Do your know how much power you are making with the ProCharger?
