Default Anyone successfully using an A2W setup on a street driven turbo truck?

As the title implies, more specifically in a hot climate. Is anyone using a Holley or similar intake with a Tick, 417,etc IC between the plenum and lower intake?

This would be for a vehicle that doesn't really have the real estate for a traditional A2A intercooler, but has plenty of room under the hood - height wise for an intake setup that incorporates the intercooler.

TIA

Ive used one this size in my 2000 silverado LQ4 for years and years. Never tried to make big power with it mainly just daily and towing.

I had it mounted between Efans and water pump but lower out of the way. Towing with 8-10psi for miles it never gave me any heating issues.

on the race cars we had some of the early 417 W/A bricks leak. Those cars we just went to M1 instead of fighting that issue.

You still need real estate for the heat exchanger. Is that more what you are asking, are there compact heat exchangers and alternative mounting locations that work well with the manifold or stand alone intercoolers? An ice box is not going to be a sustainable option for a street truck unless an active cooling apparatus like a killer chiller is incorporated.

I ran an aw ic down in my bumper with a second radiator in front of my ac condenser as a heat exchanger and reservoir in one. Overall it worked great. Not sure if I had a build thread here or tech but it’s out there.
