Anyone know how high the oil level is past the sensor?

Looks like you could move it up another 1/4-1/2" before you get to that angled ridge. That's where mine is.

I'm afraid I'll get into the starter if I go up anymore. I guess I could always put it on the front of the pan, but I planned on running a clutch fan for a little while. I just figured the hose routing would be easier on that side of the pan

Since the pan is out. Take 5 qts. of water, and see just how hi it goes. That would be more then what the pan sees under normal conditions. You can also move it forward if need be. Main thing is that its above the oil level. For ease of draining..

That's a good idea to do it with water. Thanks for the advice. I'll try it when I get home.
